Catching Up

Well, I have fallen way behind on my posts.  There has been some major changes lately though so I have a good excuse.  I am pregnant with our fourth child and the last three months have been challenging.  Lots of nausea and extremely tired all the time.  But I am now into my second trimester and feeling much, much better.  So my plans our to catch up on some of the happenings over the last couple of months.  It has not been to exciting as far as academics goes since I have not been feeling well.  The kids have just been coasting doing the core subjects of math, spelling, Latin, and a little science.  We have really fallen behind on history but I hope to get back into it next week.

Today was a pretty memorable day!  Christopher had a baseball game today and had his first hit.  He has really had a problem with hitting during a game and he finally did it today.  He also played on first base and was able to get one of the outs!  I am so excited for him and I know he was happy.  He hasn't stopped smiling since.  Emily also had a great day as well.  She has been struggling with horrible anxiety over the last few months and we have been trying our best to help her overcome it.  Today was her best day yet.  She said that her nervousness is "a lot better" and we went out to dinner where she ate her whole meal.  She even did it with a smile on her face!  I am so proud of both my children.
